John presented to ArtLab Dentistry for help with his teeth only six months ago. He had just moved with his young family from Texas to Los Angeles and wanted a fresh start.
John was embarrassed about his smile and just wanted to laugh without covering his mouth. That was his chief concern. He also was suffering from a loss of self-esteem and was also insecure about his bad breath, about food getting trapped in his teeth, pain, discomfort, and general unhappiness with his smile. He felt like his face was collapsed even with the teeth that were still in place.
He didn’t want to wear dentures, he didn’t want delays, he didn’t want any hidden costs and add-ons to proposed treatments, which is what he had experienced before. He wanted a team he could trust to restore his smile.
After about 5 months of healing, we started John’s final phase of treatment which was the final restorations. Because everything was planned so meticulously, and healing had gone so well, we were able to complete the final phase in only a month, with his complete treatment taking only 6 months.
John now has his final restorations in place, made from monolithic zirconium. It is a very strong material with minimal ceramic layering. Even without a lot of ceramic on the surface of the zirconium, we can still get a beautiful result. This is attributed to our master craftsmen, our technicians and the techniques we have developed at ArtLab Dentistry to make a material look so beautiful and natural and at the same time be strong and functional.
John now has a new lease on life. He can enjoy his family, go to baseball games, and smile with no reservation or embarrassment. In fact, he and the kids are heading out next week on a road trip up the coast of California. He was just waiting to get his new teeth.
